What's the process?
Read about the process of ordering a custom painting.
What mediums do you use?
Most of my work is painted digitally in Adobe Photoshop, but I do love to work in tradtional mediums like watercolor, acrylic, ink and mixed media. Digital painting, however, tends toward a faster turnaround and lower prices, as well as a higher level of customization in color and text. Another huge advantage to digital is how easily it can be made into other designs such as business cards, website headers, stationary and more. It's a very flexible and functional medium which works perfectly for me and my clients.
How do I pay?
PayPal is preferred as it's the fastest and most convenient, however, you may pay through money order or check as well. Money orders and checks must be paid in full while PayPal can be split into two payments if needed. Please allow an extra week of turnaround time if you must do it the old fashioned way!
You don't need a PayPal account to use PayPal, only a credit card.
How long till it's finished?
Certain projects may take longer than others for various circumstances, but most artwork and designs are generally finished in 2 - 4 weeks. If you have a deadline, absolutely let me know! Websites sometimes take longer, although almost always for the same reason - content write ups. It's always hard writing website content, but I always encourage clients to work on it throughout the design process. This is key for a timely turnaround! The most ideal situation is when the content write up is available up front.
Where can I use my art?
You are purchasing what is called usage rights for your painting, which is almost exactly as it sounds - the right to use the art for non-commercial purposes only. So using it on your website, business cards, etc. is fine, but selling copies as prints, t-shirts or otherwise would not be. Personal use only please! As the artist I still retain reproduction rights to the artwork by law. If you are interested in obtaining a commercial license for a piece, contact me!
