Logos can be made with digital or traditional media. Digital logos are made in photoshop and traditional media can be done in graphite, charcoal, pen & ink, watercolor, colored pencil or mixed media. Digital is usually faster, cheaper and there is more flexibility for the indecisive ones that can't make up their minds. It's also better if you plan on having multiple varieties or other variations using the same drawing. Traditional is more expensive and may take a little longer depending on the medium, but traditional art has a vibrancy and life to it that really can't be created digitally. With traditional logos, you're getting both a logo and a piece of artwork. This can also be combined with a portrait for an even more artsy logo!
